Dive Program
Day 1Arrival, Check-In & Dive Briefing
Arrive at Gan International Airport, meet our team, and transfer to Meedhoo by a 15 min scenic speedboat ride. Check-in to Sansara Maldives. After check-in, the dive team will assist with orientation, paperwork, equipment checks, and the general dive plan for the trip.
Dive sites are planned according to tides, currents, weather, diver certification level, recent dive experience, and safety conditions.
Days 2-109-Day Dive Program - 3 Dives Per Day
The dive program includes up to 3 dives per day across 9 dive days: 2 dives in the morning and 1 dive in the afternoon. Exact dive sites are selected daily by the dive team based on tides, currents, weather, visibility, diver certification level, and safety conditions.
The usual dive day begins with early breakfast around 7:00 AM, followed by departure for the first morning dive. Between morning dives, light refreshments such as tea, coffee, fruits, or sandwiches are available on the boat.
After the second morning dive, return to the hotel for lunch and rest. After lunch, depart again for one afternoon dive. Return in the afternoon, enjoy an evening snack, and spend the evening at leisure.
Evenings are free to relax, visit local cafes, enjoy beachside huts, or experience the local Addu community atmosphere.
Dive SitesFlexible Site Selection
Possible dive experiences may include exploring healthy hard coral gardens, wall drop-offs with deep caves, thrilling channel drifts, and historic wreck diving at the 134-meter British Loyalty. Divers can look forward to regular turtle encounters, year-round manta ray cleaning stations, and pelagic sightings like resident grey reef sharks, with advanced sites available when conditions and diver certifications allow.
No specific dive site—including Mudakan or the Shark Hotel—is guaranteed on a specific day. The final dive plan is confirmed locally to provide the safest and best possible diving experience based on daily weather and current conditions.
Day 11Departure
Check out from the hotel and transfer to Gan International Airport for departure.
The final diving schedule will be arranged with safe flying-after-diving guidelines in mind.
